This weekend started what will probably be many years of practices and games for the kiddos. Cameron officially started T-ball... otherwise known in Weatherford as Blastball. We could have started him last year but decided since he didn't know what he was missing we would hold off a year before we began the whole hoopla of practices and games. And oh was it fun!! Now, Cal and I didn't grow up around baseball fields. My family was soccer, so this was a whole new ordeal for us. I first realized we weren't the "cool" parents because we didn't have shirts printed that said, "Cameron's Mom, Dad, Brother or Sister" on the back. We did however stumble across the "cool" place to eat and that was Whataburger. One for us! Anyway, back to the game... Seeing a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds scramble after a ball (that at times looked more like football then baseball) was quite entertaining to say the least. Cameron did awesome! He hit the ball really well and once his coach moved him to a good infield place he did great fielding the balls and throwing them back. He was smart enough to stay out of the mobs fighting over the ball and instead just laughed. He seemed really excited about the whole thing too because he never stopped moving his feet; jumping up and down on the "honking bases" or just moving his feet like scissors in the dirt... uncontrolled excitement? It was great and we are excited he is getting to do "big boy stuff". Go Cameron Go!!
Dancing in the infield... couldn't stand still.

Up to bat. Daddy coaching him home!
He worked up an appetite.
