Just before Thanksgiving we went in for our 5 month ultrasound to check the baby and make sure all was well. Praise God, so far Baby is growing healthy and moving around like crazy. We were a little disappointed that the doctor couldn't tell the sex (and didn't try very hard). His exact words, "Either it's a girl or a sneaky
boy." He will do another ultrasound in 2 months to make sure all is well and he says he will be able to tell for sure the sex then (I sure hope so!). We will continue to do our own ultrasounds in the meantime and see if we can tell sooner... I'll keep you posted.
Cal's Grandpa and new wife came and visited for the day in November. They were headed to the Valley for the winter and we were lucky enough to get to see them on the way down. It was a short visit but good to catch up and always a treat to have a home cooked meal you didn't cook!Thanksgiving we headed to San Antonio to see my family. It was great that everyone made it and the boys got to run around for 5 days in the country with their cousins. No shortage of things to do and get in trouble with there. We were also able to see lots of extended family at my Grandmother's birthday parties. One turned 89 and the other 90 the week of Thanksgiving (and both going strong)! Cameron has already been asking to go back and was sad when I told him it would be awhile before our next trip.
Daddy has been able to get some hunting in as well. He went to Kansas with some guys pheasant hunting for a long weekend in November, and then managed to get a deer at our ranch over Thanksgiving. I'm excited about the deer sausage but have no plans on eating bird. Cameron says he'll eat it, and my share too.
And what to do we when Daddy's gone?

Go to the park and have movie night! And lastly... Cal's sister and family came to visit us for a couple of days last week. They have 2 boys Cameron and Bryant's age and boy did they have a blast. Lots of screaming, playing, and running but it was all worth it to see them have such a good time together. They'll be back for Christmas for round 2.
4 Monkeys in the tub!
