All Night Long

Last weekend Cameron had his first sleepover.  I decided this year we would slow down a little bit and just have some of his closest friends over for a little birthday celebration that included food and playing.  It seems like we are always too busy to schedule play dates so this was a perfect opportunity for him to relax with his compadres and have some fun.  That is just what they did.  Lots of eating, playing video games, Nerf wars, and Lego's.  They all had a good time and although several weren't quite ready to spend the night (or their mom's weren't), they all had a blast.  The activities lasted until about 11:30 and of course they were all up about 7 am the next morning.  No fighting or injuries and Cameron loved all the time with his buddies.  My favorite quote from the night came from Cameron's best friend Tyler, "My mom won't let me spend the night until I'm 10.  Cameron, can you have another sleepover for your 10th birthday?"
