After 2 1/2 days the water is back! Hot showers all around, laundry done, and dishwasher in use. Yesterday, the sun decided to make its long awaited debut. Although the temperature was still in the 20's it shone bright enough to start melting the snow, and our pipes. Before to much melting occurred we managed a boys outing to play in the 2-3 inches of fresh snow we received that morning. The boys tried their hand at snow angles... not so good but I think it was because there was only a couple of inches of snow to wallow in. The hit of the morning was sledding down the steep incline in our front yard. It was just steep enough to get a little speed but not to hard to do again and again. We all had a great time! The only thing that would have made it better would have been for Daddy to share in the fun... unfortunately, horses still get sick in cold weather.
