Sweet B Turns 3

Last week Bryant turned 3! I know, I know, a little late in the posting but to my defense, we left the next day to go out of town and just got back a couple of days ago (thanks Grandma). So... back to the birthday. Number 3 was all about fire!!! He got to pick his birthday theme and he picked firetrucks!

The morning started to him waking up to a 3 foot long, huge, firetruck! His little face was priceless as he pulled me out of bed to show me the monstrous thing he found on the kitchen table. Complete with an extendable ladder and a siren (I know, what were we thinking?). He loved it! Next, he put on his fireman shirt and we headed to meet some friends at the local fire station for a tour. We got to see the inside of the station (which none of them cared about) and then went outside to crawl and touch every part of the fire engine that their little hands could get a hold of - I really hope they check that thing over before leaving on a call. Chick-fil-a, a nap and then off to the party. This year we opted for the local park and were blessed by amazing weather and lots of friends. They all had a blast playing and of course wrestling (because that is what boys do when they get together)and the adults got to relax and catch up a little. We topped it all off by singing Happy Birthday and eating a delicious "burning building" cake made by a sweet friend (it even had real smoke coming out of it!).
A special thanks to Grandma, and Memaw and Papaw for coming to celebrate with us. It wouldn't have been the same with out you. All in all a great day!

What a true blessing the last 3 years really have been! We love you sweet boy!

None of the kids were sure about this at first. He was a little scary with everything on
