Hear We Go Again!

I really thought I had posted my last blog on Bryant's ears, but unfortunately, the saga continues. Remember the post just about a week ago about the boys being sick?... well, both ended up getting ear infections. No biggy (so we thought) because Bryant's ENT had given us a prescription for ear drops for just such an occasion (Cameron happened to go in for his 3 year check up and the doctor found his and gave us meds). We bought the ear drops, $106.00!!!! and put them in his ears for 4 days as directed. All was well for 2 days after, and then... he woke up this morning with bloody fluid coming from 1 of his ears again(sigh). Went to the doctor and turns out he had a bad infection with so much drainage the drops weren't getting into the middle ear. So, after a culture, thorough ear cleaning, tons of screaming, and who knows how much money we were told to go straight to the pharmacy and pick up the next round of antibiotics. So, we are back in the routine that hopefully won't be a routine much longer.
On a fun note, we managed to squeeze in lunch and playing at the mall on the way to the doctor. They had a great time and were both worn out for the ride home!
Last but not least, let me brag on Cameron a minute... when the nurse was holding Bryant down to clean his ears, Cameron went up to Bryant and started rubbing his cheek telling him it was going to be OK! So sweet!!!
